Mark A Thompson left a message on April 2, 2021:
Eddie and his sister Loretta had had aunt and uncle who lived beside us in Arnold. One time when I was twelve then and Eddie was sixteen, I was running around outside, and I stepped on a nail, stuck through a board. The nail almost poked through the top of my foot. The board was nailed to my foot. I screamed and Eddie came running; he was a big kid, very strong. He grabbed the board with both hands, braced himself and pulled, and got it out of my foot, all without saying anything. I cannot imagine me trying to get to the house, let alone my Mom trying to get the board free. Every time I saw him over the years, or he’d be mentioned I’d think of that. I can still see him braced, both hands on the board and the strain on his face as he pulled that nail out of my foot. Thanks, again, Eddie.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.
