It is with great sadness that we heard of Bill’s passing. He was a kind and generous soul. He had an infectious laugh. I know he will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing. My condolences to his family and friends. We met when I began working in the Children's Hospital ER in 1978. I encouraged him to apply to Norwich Fire where we worked together until I retired in 1996. Away from the firehouse, we had occasions to fly general aviation aircraft together and sail on Lake Erie. I am blessed with many fond memories. Again, my condolences to family and friends.

Prayers of peace and comfort to the family. To Mary, no mother should ever have to see a child pass. My Mother lost brother Tom, 6 years ago. It was a tough time for her. Can only imagine how you must feel. I grew up with the Midgley family in Mutual, Ohio. So many fond memories of playing with them. Later in life, met up with Billy again at high school reunions. He had not changed a lick. Was still the dear, sweet friend he had always been. Fly with the angels, my friend. You will be missed terribly. Allen and Todd, if you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to message me here on facebook.

What a great loss. I met Bill through the No Cages HOG (Harley Owners Group). We quickly became friends. I enjoyed riding with Bill and appreciated his insight about safety on and off the bikes. Enjoy riding any bike you like in heaven. ...go as fast as you like brother! We will meet again some day.
