Retired from Ranco after 24 years of service. Virginia was extremely proud of her Native American heritage, attending many rendezvous and ceremonies. She and her husband performed many demonstrations for the elementary students in Waynesville, MO.

Preceded in death by her father: Harold E. and Alta Crothers; mother: Beulah (Dean) and Earl J. Patch; husband: William Wears – 2008; brother: Warren; sister: Susie. Survived by her children: William Robert (Shelley) Wears, Tracy Lynne (Philip) Rausch, Kelly Sue (William) Fitzpatrick, Scott Earl (Theresa) Wears, Jamie Ruth Wears; grandchildren: Bill, Mike, C.J., Ayla, Josh, Aaron, Cassie, Victoria, Beka, Wm Ryan, Jeremy, Synthia, Brittany, Taryn, Caleb, Willamina; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Michael and Eugene “Gene”; sisters: Bonnie, Alta, Patricia, Mary and Barbara.

The family will have a gathering 5-8 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Darby Township Hall, Union County, Unionville Center.

My deepest condolences to the Wears family. May you find comfort in the beautiful words found at Revelation 21:3 & 4, where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all pain, suffering and death. While we wait for this promise to be fulfilled, may the fond memories of Virginai comfort you and ease your pain.

So very sorry to hear of Jenny's passing. Bill and Jenny were the first people to welcome us to Unionville so many years ago. She will be missed. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Virginia and Bill were very nice neighbors for the first several years we lived next door to them. Now Tracy and Phil are our great neighbors. Our prayers are with your family.
