Michele, Mel and Family- How lucky you were to have such an amazing grandma. As Michele was sharing the stories and pictures of her grandma watching jeopardy, tucked into her blanket with her neck pillow ,and cheating at solitaire.... I mean.. can anyone argue she prepared her entire life to be the BEST grandma. I pray that God floods all the moments of grief with beautiful memories of a life well lived. Holding you close in thoughts and prayers. Jody

Velma was loved and will be missed by many. I always enjoyed talking with her when she stopped in the post office, or at one of Gwen’s shindigs. I was so lucky to be the recipient of many of her apple pies , that she dropped off at the post office, still warm. Blue ribbon for sure!
