THOMAS “TOM” G. BOGGS, age 55, of Marysville, lost his courageous battle with cancer Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Ohio State Medical Center. Born May 10, 1954 in Marysville, Ohio.
Tom attended Jonathan Alder High School until his senior year, then graduated from London High School in 1972. He was a passionate musician and a well known guitar player with The Backwoods Band. He was a member of both the Eagles and the Moose in Marysville.
He is survived by his wife, Robbie Ann (Kitchen) Boggs of Marysville; sons, Jeremy (Heather) Boggs of Marysville, Kyle Boggs of Seattle, WA; adored grandchildren, Alexis & Bryson Boggs; mother and step-father, Helen (Fred) McKnight of Plain City; father, Donald Boggs of South Charleston; brother, Rev. Gary (Pat!) Boggs of Tipp City; step brothers, Stanley Gibson of TX, Steve Gibson of London; special aunts, Sue (Larry) Lowry of Columbus, Mary Bishop of Columbus.
Friends may call 2-5 PM Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St (St Rt 161 W) Plain City where funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, September 28, 2009 with his brother, Rev. Gary Boggs officiating. Burial in Big Darby Cemetery.
