I couldn't have asked for a better childhood experience having Lee as my babysitter. My sister Beth and I considered her a second mother and thus came about our name for her: Mommy Lee. I'll always remember helping her in the garden, picking berries and rhubarb, shucking beans and watching her throughout the canning process. She always made us a home-cooked meal for dinner. I'll remember watching Elvis, Kenny Rogers, The Price is Right and Days of Our Lives. I still have the Barbie doll she bought me for Christmas when I was 10 or 11 and kept it safe in the box. Once, while walking out of her house down the driveway to catch the bus, I almost stepped on a snake. I ran back to the house so scared and she asked what was going on. When I told her, she went and had a look and told me it was just a garter snake and nothing to worry about. That may have been one small thing, but I remember that I always thought she was such a strong person and that nothing would shake her. I hope she gets to see Elvis in heaven and they go for a ride at the track. Love Always, Michelle.

Lee was a super lady! I have such fond memories of her love for her family and let's not forget Elvis! She was quick to lend an ear or a helping hand. Much love to all! Dee
