ROBERT EUGENE “ BOB” SHRIVER, age 63 of Plain City, passed away Sunday April 26, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving and caring family since his illness began November 25, 2008. Born October 18, 1945 in Franklin County. Bob retired from Honda of Marysville April 2008. He enjoyed farming, Truck & Tractor Pulls, Snowmobiling, 4-Wheeling, attending the Farm Science Review and watching RFD and his family.
Preceded in death by parents; Clayton S. & Margie (Harter) Shriver; brothers, infant Gary Lee and Andrew Shriver; “special cousins” Jim and Betty Lou Fraganato.
Survived by dedicated wife of 45 years; Janet (Wilson) Shriver; children, Jennifer (Jack Newell) Shriver, Robert (Janice O’Dell) Shriver, Jackie (Pat Martin) Shriver, Sam Shriver, Johnny Shriver; grandchildren, Kelly Jo Tucker, David Shriver, Vincent Graber, Samara, Kennedy Harlei Shriver; great-grandchildren, Joseph and Kody Tucker; siblings, Lois (Terry Schoby) Parsell, Mary Colflesh, Kathy (Rick) Elson, Carol Shriver, Sherry Shriver, Cindy Henderson, Dave Shriver, aunt, Margaret Jordan; cousins, Ester Cunliff, Jack Shriver; brother and sister – in- laws, John (Barb) Wilson, David (Martha) Wilson, Alice (Jack) Jahn, Mary Jane Edwards, Thelma Kesler, Dorothy Gaa. Funeral will be held 10:30 am Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (Rt. 161W) Plain City, where the family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday. Pastor Bill Webb officiating. Burial Dublin Cemetery, Dublin.
