I met Markie at a workshop, the summer before I started teaching 3rd grade with her and Kristal, at Monroe. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Markie took me in immediately and showed me the kind of life I wanted for myself. Markie and her students were infinitely happy together. She shared an overwhelming love. She shared it with me, also, especially when I was in a nursing home, against my will. Markie and John brought their accordians and played Christmas tunes for my neighbors and me, for a long time. Extremely thoughtful. Overwhelming love.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.

Richard, Susie, Sean and family, I can't possibly come up with just one memory of Markie as there are so many and just not room to capture them all right here. I adored her and the love she showed me. There wasn't a time she didn't have a smile and a sweet word for me, well maybe once but even then it was out of love. She truely made me feel like I was a member of the family. I send you all prayers of comfort during the days, weeks and months to come. I love you all!
