What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say goodbye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived, and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Lori was such a wonderful person and I will always remember her fondly. I spoke with her on almost a daily basis. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mark, Rachel, and extended family. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lori for many years at Discover Card. She greeted everyone with a smile and spoke with great pride of her daughter and loving husband. I was very saddened to hear about the loss of this truly great person that was able to touch so many people with her enthusiasm and love of family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mark, Rachel and family during this difficult time.

Mark,Rachel and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your wife/Mom's passing. She was such a beautiful person and I am glad I got to know her. Jamie and I were talking about the trip to Chicago for Rachel's Birthday. I liked talking with her while you girls tumbled in gymnastics. I know how close you all were. Just know that she will always be with you. Carla Hamby

Lori was a joy to know. I worked with her at Discover Card. We often talked about her family, religion and her trips to Hawaii! She was truly a family person, an industrious worker and a real down-to-earth person. I can only imagine the grief her family feels at this time. The Bible gives comfort: the dead are unconscious, waiting for the foretold resurrection to occur. (See Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 and John 5:28,29) We can look forward to seeing her again in God's new world here on earth, after 'God's Kingdom Comes'. (Matthew 6:9,10) Lori had deep faith in the Bible. May her family continue to do likewise. Lori was loved and gave love.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.
