Lois Adele Williams, age 99, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born July 10, 1923 in Columbus, Ohio. Lois was an active member of Pleasant Valley Senior Citizens, VFW Darby Post #3268 Ladies Auxiliary, and Rebekah Lodge #132 Plain City. She enjoyed several hobbies including reading, jigsaw puzzles, word search and bingo. Lois also had fun roller skating and dancing, and enjoyed a good chocolate. She particularly loved spending time with her family. Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Nellie (Lyle) Clapsaddle and her husband Pearl R. Williams(1994). Survived by children: Carol (Steve) Shyers, Barbara (Kent) Weisheimer, Robert (Suzie) Williams, and Cheryl Williams; 7 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-great grandchildren; brother Terry (Jeanie) Clapsaddle; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4pm Sunday January 15, 2023 at Ferguson Funeral Home, Plain City where the funeral will be held at noon Monday with 1 hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery. Find comfort and peace in knowing that she is no longer in pain, is with our lord and savior, and is reunited with loved ones that have passed before her......what a glorious reunion that must be! She will forever keep watch over her beloved family, untill the day comes that they are once reunited. Gods speed and fly high with the angels Lois!!! Until we meet again..........

My sincere condolences on the passing of your mom. Seems like yesterday at the old Methodist Church, your parents are sitting in the pew behind my mom (Juanita Schaeffer) and I. Then celebrating her 95th birthday! I adore the pictures I captured of our moms. Two little ladies hugging, holding hands, and talking away. That is what makes their generation so special. They cared for each. Lived thru the hard times as my mom would say and to tell their stories. I will always remember what my mom said as we were leaving the party, “I hope to live as long as Lois and still be able to get around as good as she does”. I responded, I pray you do too mom. My mom passed 2 years before your mom at 92. Both had a life well lived and able to see the amazing things that changed in their life time from the time they were growing up. In my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate your dear mom’s life.
