We are so sad to hear of Lewis passing. Mary, (his first wife) was my very best friend. Her and Lewis were my second family. I am good friends with his second wife also. Our children grew up together. Lewis helped coach our sons in Little League. I know Mary is waiting to greet him. They were the models for true love. I pray They will be waiting for me. My condolences to his family. I love Mable, his kids, his sisters, and his brother Phillip and wife Paula. May our Lord be with the family.during this time. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜₯

I have many memories of Uncle Lew in Kileville. The garden out back. I would get hollered at when I would grab a tomato to eat while I waited for Little Lew and Mikey to come outside. My favorite memory is when our backyard was flooded and there was Uncle Lew in his fishing boat floating around in the yard with a line in the water. He always gave good hugs.

To the Butterfield family; My deepest condolences to you all. Fond memories of the Kileville days and those of "Louie" as a neighbor, friend, and mentor. Mostly I will always think of him as one of my Dad's best and most trusted friends, and great co-worker. Dad was so fond of him and always spoke of him in the highest regard.
