LEVI “LEE” MILLER, JR., age 67, of Plain City passed away suddenly Monday, October 5, 2009 in the Emergency Room at Doctor’s Hospital West, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 1, 1942 in Madison County.
He was an active member of Sharon Mennonite Church. Owner & Operator of Lee Miller Excavating for 35 years. He followed in his father’s foot steps by becoming a skilled and very competitive Horseshoe Pitcher. He also loved Shuffle Board and Golf.
Preceded in death by his parents, Levi M. & Anna (Kauffman) Miller; daughter, Ann Maria Sweigart; brothers, Oris & John; sister, Mary Yoder.
Survived by his wife of 47 years, Niva Jean (Byler) Miller whom he married on June 2, 1962 in Hartville, Ohio; Children, Anthony “Tony” (Tina) Miller of Plain City, Angie (Rick) Critchfield of Dublin, Darryl (Laura) Miller of Plain City; Son-in-law, Lamar Sweigart of Plain City; 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Melvin Ray Miller, Mose L. (Pauline) Miller; Sister, Sarah (Eli) Schrock all of Sugar Creek; Mother-in-law, Elizabeth Byler; Many nieces & nephews.
Friends may call from 1-3 & 6-8 PM Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Sharon Mennonite Church, 7675 Amity Pike, Plain City where funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday with Pastor Bob Yoder officiating.
