Being welcomed to the Seymour/Bennett/Beach family since I was a meanager, getting to know them all quite well. Fishing a Joe & Diane's was always fun times. Family nights at Jim and Mable's playing cards, swimming in the pool, bowling, or whatever came up and grew by the hour. Joe would show up with his family as would Brothers Mike and Butch. If Marilyn was there I wasn't too far away or had just left. Joe always made everyone feel welcome. He showed respect to all, old, young, or never seen before. He certainly kept family at the top of his to-do list. God Bless the family and share that love as well as your grief. HugZ Tammi

I was a new bus driver to JA and Joe and I did basketball trips together. When the games are over and it was late, he always got us back home no matter the weather. I learned what I know to this day about after school trips because of Joe. Be safe get them home. Still think of our many trips together. I'm glad to have made those trips with Joe, I'm a better driver because you showed me how. Thanks so much. Love ya.

Joe was such a loving and giving man. It was so apparent how much he loved Diane and the rest of his family and how much they loved him in return. Joe and Diane were a match made in heaven. The Bennetts are the closest family I know. They shared a wonderful life and enjoyed every minute of it. Joe was so talented and was willing to help anyone. Joe left Diane in good hands with the family they raised. I'm glad I got to be a small part of his life. My heartfelt condolences to all.

There was NOBODY LIKE JOE BENNETT! He greeted you with some kind of joke, crack or sarcasm, but that was JOE. You never had to wonder what he meant, what he said, etc, HE WAS THE FULL PACKAGE! He would help you, if he could in a heart beat and his kids and grandkids had his time and attention. When the grandbabies and then great grands showed up, that was it! He will be greatly missed, especially when he would see me and have something SARCASTIC OR SILLY TO SAY! BUT THAT WAS JOE!!!
Brenda Francis Williams left a message on October 26, 2021:
Dear Diane and family - "I'm sorry" doesn't even begin to express the sorrow I feel for you all at the loss of Joe. These words seem far too insignificant. Over 52 years ago I was standing with you both at the altar when you got married. Life happens all too fast. Please know you have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I ask the Lord to continue to strengthen you all. Love and hugs. Brenda Francis
