Joe was always fun to be around and one that I considered to be a friend. I still remember the day that he showed up at school with a shaved head. Apparently Phil convinced Joe that he could give him a good haircut. Phil was not a barber however and as the haircut was uneven, he ended up shaving it all off.

My uncle Joe was a great man and uncle. Was always cracking jokes and playing tricks on us as kids. Taught us how to train a dog to hunt and tree a coon, fish, play cards, work on wood crafts in the garage and cheer for our Buckeyes. He and Jeannie took us everywhere many trips to Kentucky if our parents couldn't go. As an adult he became my friend and a wonderful uncle to my children. We even got to enjoy time with him in 10 mile TN. He will be forever missed. It's never easy letting go of a loved one , sending all my love to family and friends and he was so loved by so many. I'll forever cherish every memory I was able to have with him. I love you Uncle Joe.
