At the beginning of the Covid pandemic, John called me to see how I was doing. I live in New York City, and at the time we were the epicenter of the pandemic. That shows the kind of caring person he was. I, and the whole pen community, will miss you. I’m glad I got to know you. My deepest condolences to Amy and the family. Dr Larry Liebman, NYC

John was such a great guy when I taught years ago at Deer Run. We often spent our free time visiting about school, pens, cycles, etc. Those were good times with all the staff, and John was loved by all! Blessings for the family.

What can I say? John was more than a neighbor and a friend. My kids thought he was their Uncle John until they were old enough to realize we were not really related. John was the best neighbor. So many fun and different interests. He was always willing to lend a hand or help out as needed. The kids all loved him especially at Halloween with his elaborate decorations and coffin! His son Johnny was the light of his eye, but after he married Heather (Who he also adored) and had two granddaughters, you never saw John without him whipping out pictures or telling a fun story about the girls. He will be missed. May he be at peace and out of pain. Claudia/Janet/Ben

My condolences to John's beloved family and friends. I knew John from the pen community and found we had many common threads in the motorcycle community. He always treated everyone with the utmost respect. The last time I saw him, we sat in the hotel bar, reminiscing about friends we had in common who have gone on. I can't believe he has joined their ranks. He will be so very missed by so many in multiple communities, but mostly by his family. God bless and keep you all.

I was very sad to hear of John’s passing. I got to know him during our days with Dublin Schools. When I was Athletic Director, often things would stop working and throughout the years, John would be the one that would rescue us and get things going again. He was always willing to help. My condolences to his family and thank you so much for sharing him with is for all the years he was with the school district.

What a great man John was. When he worked with DCS, and I was at Olde Sawmill, I always had a pot of coffee made when I knew he was coming by. We had many great laughs at school. He will be missed by many. My thoughts & prayers are with the entire family. RIP John!
