Dear Ladies, I am Sherry, the youngest child of your Dad's brother, James Carl, and his wife, Mary. I just learned that you lost your Dad. I wanted to send my condolences to all of you. Your father, and mother, were both kind and loving people. We never got to see each other much. But when we did, I remember thinking how lovely a couple they were. Please accept my deepest sympathies and I will keep you all in my prayers at this difficult time.

Uncle Jerry always had the biggest hugs and made us all feel welcome. He was sincerely interested in how we were and what we were doing in our lives. I loved visiting aunt Nancy and Uncle Jerry’s home, seeing their gardens, swimming in the pool, gathering to eat yummy meals, seeing all the pies uncle Jerry and Aunt Nancy had preserved from their garden, and of course seeing my cousins. I also enjoyed the music in their house and playing the dulcimer. I loved the smiles of welcome and listening to the conversations. I will miss Uncle Jerry. He and Aunt Nancy were such a loving and united couple who always loved to entertain and make their friends and family feel welcomed in their home. My love and condolences go out to all my cousins. Might you cherish the memories and keep his love for you bright in your hearts.
