David and Doris Miller left a message on June 3, 2021:
When in Sarasota, while on daily walks Dave would often stop and visit with Elvin when he was sitting outside. One day Elvin invited Dave inside to show him the quilts he was working on. It is a special memory. We enjoyed Elvins singing in the BV Park and Church choirs. Elvin always has a quick smile and friendly Hi. We are happy that Elvin is now walking with Jesus and his loved ones. God bless you all.
Polly Stevenson left a message on June 2, 2021:
I am saddened to hear of the passing of a man I will cherish forever. Elvin was a very young pastor to Stoner Heights Mennonite Church back in the 60s. My sister had leukemia in 1964 and Elvin gave our family such comfort during that difficult time. I have no doubt he is with our Lord at this very minute singing with the angels and talking with his loved ones who went before him. He and Nellie are reunited! My condolences to Elvins family who will miss him dearly. He was a truly wonderful man.
Castillo Gago Family left a message on June 1, 2021:
So sorry for your loss, my family and I will be praying for yours. May God give you strength and comfort through this time. I'll treasure even more the quilt that he gifted me that Christmas. I will always remember grandpa Elvin.
