DUANE L. MILLER, age 47 of Avondale, Lake View, Ohio, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 1, 2009 in his home. Born April 4, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. Duane liked working with his hands, he enjoyed wood working and building furniture as well as putting models together. He was an avid fisherman who genuinely loved his family and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his Father, Henry Herman Miller on October 10, 2004.

Survived by his Wife, Lisa (Grimes) Miller whom he married on March 31, 1989; Sons, David (Christina) James & Shane (Nicol) James both of North Lewisburg; Mother, Anna Mae (Kauffman) Miller of Plain City; Grandchildren, Michael Smith, Noah James, Brayden James, Alexis James and one on the way; Sisters, Kathy (Darrel) Rohrer – Hebron & Diane Miller Ryan – Plain City; Sister-in-law, Lynn (Glen) Heard – Raymond; Brother-in-law, Larry (Sherri) Grimes – West Mansfield; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may call 1-3 & 6-8 PM Monday at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (St. Rt 161) Plain City. Services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Sharon Mennonite Church 7675 Amity Pike, Plain City.
