Daisy Louise Miller, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, at Kobacker House, surrounded by love and light. Daisy was born on February 13, 1929 to the late Louis and Dolores Trees. She retired from the Jonathan Alder School District as head cook after more than 25 years of service. She enjoyed watching OSU football, college basketball and golf. One of her favorite memories was watching Tiger Woods at the Muirfield Golf Tournament. A weekly tradition that Daisy looked forward to was lunch and shopping. She was a devoted mother, grandma and great-grandma as her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved with all her heart.
Daisy is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Ray; sister, Juanita Wester; and daughter-in-law, Casey Miller. She is survived by daughter, Cindy North of Dublin; son, Ted Miller of Grandview; grandchildren, Chad (Mandy) North; Emily (Tom) Clapham; Molly Miller; Sam (Helena) Miller; great-grand children; Riley, Avery North; Greyson, Jaxson Clapham; Quinn, Jemma and Layla Miller.
The family would like to thank all of the amazing nurses and aides at Kobacker House who lovingly cared for our mom and grandma on her journey.
Please join the family to celebrate Daisy’s life on Thursday, June 3 from 5-8 PM in her home located at 206 Converse Drive, Plain City.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Kobacker House at 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
