Brett J. Adams

Brett J. Adams, age 61, passed away on June 12, 2022. Brett was a 1979 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School. He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Adams DO; brother, Reginald J. Adams; sister-in-law, Thresa Adams.

Brett is survived by his loving mother Norma Jean Adams, brother John E. Adams II DO (Paula), and sister Tammy J. Stalnaker (Mike). Uncle Brett is also survived by nephews and nieces including grandnephews and grandnieces.

Brett will be remembered for many things. He took English horseback riding lessons in his teenage years and began again as an adult with Western style. Brett loved ice cream and milkshakes. He was an avid Bob Evans fan with either ordering country fried steak with mashed potatoes or getting a stack of pancakes with a side of sausage. Watching a good movie or television show was his favorite pastime. Anyone who met Brett appreciated his kindness, friendliness, and manners when talking with others. His family will be forever grateful for his willingness to be a helpmate to his mother in all the times she took care of others and opened her home. Her hospitality became his hospitality.

Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, Ohio during a private family gathering.
