Bonnie G. Phillips, age 74 of Plain City passed away Sunday January 8, 2023. Bonnie was born to Bertie & Marguerite Cornell on January 22, 1948. She graduated from Hilliard High School class of 1966. She worked for Dennison- Parker Hydraulics for 36 years and retired in 2012. Bonnie attended Northwest Chapel in Amlin. She was proceeded in in death by her parents and infant brother Bertie “Bucky” Cornell Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie (Scott) Craig and her son, Jason (Joy) Phillips; Grandchildren: Ashley Rodgers, Kyle Craig, Dylan (Cynthia) Craig, Madison (AJ) Murry, and Macy Phillips; Great-grandchildren: Paxton, Brody, and Harper Rodgers, and Lizzie Murry. She is also survived by her sisters: her twin Patricia Caldwell, Brenda (John) Bliss, Diana Venrick, all of Plain City; and brothers: Bill (Bev) Cornell of Marysville, and Carson (Petra) Cornell of Tallahassee, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie loved spending time with her family. She especially loved shopping with her sisters and watching classic movies. Bonnie loved her family and will be deeply missed.The family will receive friends 4 – 7 PM Wednesday at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Plain City, where the funeral will be held 10 AM Thursday January 12, 2023.

I got to know Bonnie working at Parker. Sweet and helpful lady. Sorry for her family’s loss. She will be missed for sure.

I am so sorry! My husband is ill so we can't come to the funeral, etc but please know that we will be there in spirit - and send the family all the love we can muster We will never forget how hard she worked in the church kitchen to prepare snacks for Vacation Bible School - for MANY years. We will miss seeing her smile on Sundays and sitting behind her in our newly remodeled church chapel! love Larry and Bev Caldwell

I will always remember Bonnie as such a fun and free-spirited person. When I was younger, I always loved going to family functions on my Aunt Brenda's side because I knew she would be there, and she always made time for the kids and as we got older, we still got in on all the fun. I will always have the best memories!! Love Always!!
