I did not know Ada passed. It was an honor to assist her while at Edgewater. She was so good to talk with and give motherly advice. Her legacy lives on in her beautiful family.

I remember a sweet, loving mother who had incredible Sunday dinners in her home. She was good friends with my mom and brings a smiles to mom's face and she thinks of her. What a baker and beautiful woman! She raised fun, wonderful, smart kids as well! -Mary Yoder

I worked at Edgewater and got to meet this wonderful lady, so caring and thoughtful to others! One night she was out with family baking pies, and I had told her how when I was young, we took the scraps from the pie crust and we would sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and baked them. Later when she returned, she presented to me in foil, those cinnamon and sugar cookies from pie crust scraps! She put a big smile on my face, and I think it brought her so much pleasure seeing my surprise reaction! Rest in Peace beautiful lady!

I worked at Edgewater as the Activity Director when Ada first moved in. We hatched baby chickens there one year and I remember Ada calling me at 2:30 in the morning to tell me that they were hatching. The excitement in her voice just took my heart. What a beautiful person inside and out. Heaven has defiantly gained an angel. XOXO

Our sincere sympathy and love to each member of Ada’s family. She was one of a kind and we were privileged to know her and be part of her “ extended family”. We experienced her fabulous cooking and saw her passion for jigsaw puzzles. We will miss attending Christmas Eve services with her at her church. She’s with Joseph and Bryan now in their eternal home. We will miss you Ada, we love you, Rick and Pat
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.
